During the Halloween season (from early September to the beginning of November), Walt Disney World offers a wide variety of activities and shows for the whole family to celebrate. Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes and join in the “not-so-spooky” fun. Here are our favorite Halloween must-do’s this year at WDW:
- Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular Show: From September 5th- November 1st, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular will take place on the Cinderella Castle stage in Magic Kingdom. Based off of the 1993 movie, Hocus Pocus, Disney Villains join the Sanderson sisters on stage to perform and cast a spell on everyone at Magic Kingdom Park!
Happy Hallowishes Fireworks: A special, Halloween version of Magic Kingdom’s ‘Wishes Fireworks’ brings all of the magic you expect on your Walt Disney World vacation. Disney Villains (such as Ursula, Cruella De Ville, and Maleficent) take over the show and cover Cinderella’s Castle in creepy colors, and images, follwed by lighting up the sky with breathtaking fireworks.
3. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party: Held on select dates from 7pm-Midnight, guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes and search for all kinds of candy and sweets around the Magic Kingdom Park. Be sure to catch the ‘Boo-To-You Halloween Parade’, led by the Headless Horseman, that travels through the park at 8:35pm and 11:15pm.
