After visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios, we were stunned by the uniqueness of the foods we tried. In celebration of May the Fourth Be with You, the unofficial holiday celebrated annually by Star Wars fans around the world, we recreated some of our favorite treats at home.

Blue Milk

This popular drink can be found at the milk stand at Hollywood Studios. If you haven’t tried a cup of Batuu’s legendary blue or green milk drink before, it resembles the taste of a non-alcoholic pina colada. For fans, they’ve most likely seen Luke Skywalker enjoying his blue milk in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, and a cup of green milk in Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi. The milk is also known as Bantha milk or Tatooine milk. And the blue-colored liquid is produced by a female bantha’s mammary glands. To recreate these exotic galactic delicacies at home, we use a combination of coconut milk, rice milk, and tropical fruit juices to give it that sweet tang. If you want to recreate the green drink, use the same ingredients but instead of passionfruit juice and pineapple juice, use your favorite orange juice. The orange color of orange juice and blue food coloring will change the color of the milk to a cool green color!

Ronto Wrap Copy Cat Recipe

The Ronto Wrap is a popular food item that can be found at Ronto Roasters in the Black Spire Outpost’s marketplace. This savory dish consists of  Roasted Pork, Grilled Pork Sausage, Peppercorn Sauce, and a Sweet & Tangy Slaw served with a wrap. There are ways to make this recipe from scratch but if you’re like us and you want a quick fix, you can buy most of the ingredients premade. We used Boar’s Head Pepperhouse Gouramis for the peppercorn sauce, which can be found at our local Publix grocery store. If you don’t have access to a Publix, you can always find recreation for a peppercorn spread online! We seasoned and grilled thin slices of pork tenderloin for the roasted pork. And to wrap everything together, we used warm pita bread. Below is the recipe card for this quick dish that is easy to recreate!

Blue Shrimp Cocktail Copycat Recipe based on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

This shrimp cocktail has been talked about ever since photos debuted during the opening of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel. The 2-night, 2-day stay takes guests on a mission to a “Galaxy far, far away”. Our partners at Katie Bean Travels had the opportunity to live out their Star Wars story and report back to us about their experience.
