Summer is officially over, and the cool Autumn breeze is slowly making it’s way into the Walt Disney World Parks. As we journey through the last few weeks of October, Walt Disney World is preparing for the upcoming Holiday season. October through January at Walt Disney World is one of the most exciting (and busy) times of year. Below, you will find our detailed Holiday Calendar, which includes all special events and must-do’s for your 2015 Walt Disney World Vacation:

October

~Epcot: International Food and Wine Festival: Travel your taste-buds around the World with appetizing menus selected specifically for each country’s traditions and culture.

~Magic Kingdom: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Price: $74 for ages 10+                                                                                            

Dates: October 1, 2,4 ,6 ,8 ,9 ,12 ,13 ,15 ,16 ,18 ,20 ,22 ,23 ,25 ,27 ,29, and 31.

What’s Included?                                                                                                      

~Trick or Treat: Fill your bags with Halloween treats and goodies by following a guided map.                                                                                                                

~Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular: The 3 Sanderson Sisters host a spooky, but fun show located on Cinderella’s Castle Stage. Using Disney Villains, together they cast a spell on everyone in Magic Kingdom park! 8pm, 9:20pm, 10:40pm, and Midnight.                                                                                                                

~Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade: The Headless Horseman leads in the parade of disguised Disney Characters on not-so-scary decorated floats. Select dates at 8:30pm.                                                                                                        

~Happy Hallowishes: Hosted by The Haunted Mansion Ghost, Disney Villains drop in to celebrate the spooky holiday of Halloween by taking over Magic Kingdom’s Wishes Fireworks. The castle and fireworks light up together with music from Disney’s creepiest classics. Time: 10pm.

~Hollywood Studios: The Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights: Millions of shimmering lights cover the buildings on the Streets of America, which change along with the joyful music that surrounds you. This year will be the last performance of the Dancing Lights before WDW removes it permanently, so make sure to check this one out! 🙂

~Magic Kingdom: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party: Cinderella’s Castle lights up in sparkling white lights and icicles as Magic Kingdom brings in the cheer from Christmas.

Price: $74+ for ages 10+

Dates: November 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20 and 29. 7pm-12am.

What’s Included?

~Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade: Gingerbread men, elves and others dance around floats carrying festively dressed Disney Characters, and of course Santa Claus.

~Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season: Exploding white lights and fireworks over Cinderella’s Castle bring in the Christmas season, along with Jiminy Cricket’s reminders of holidays cheer.

1st Seating: Book a reservation at 4:30 PM to enjoy a 4-course meal with choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert: $148.04 for adults (10 years of age and over); $47.93 for children (ages 3 through 9).*

The Walt Disney World parks are so busy around the holidays, that they often max out their occupancy around mid-day and refuse guests entry. If you aren’t able to spend the entire day from morning until midnight at the parks, you might come across this problem. Below is a couple of options for a New Year’s Celebration outside of the park chaos, while still being able to see a spectacular show.

New Year’s Eve Outside of the Parks: 

California Grill, Contemporary Resort: Enjoy a delicious dinner created by the top chefs at Walt Disney World while watching the New Years Eve Fireworks over the Seven Seas Lagoon.
